West Bengal Staff Selection Commission will conduct Meteorological Assistant  EXAMINATION 2016

QUALIFICATION: A pass in Higher Secondary Examination or Uchcha Madhyamik Examination in the                                   Science stream with Mathematics and Physics having at least 50% marks in Science subjects

                                                 or

with Geography (Pure) as one of the subjects having at least 50% marks therein.

                                                AND

Must have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali.

AGE LIMIT:  18-40 YEARS AS ON 1^ST JANUARY 2016.

AGE RELAXATION:  FOR SC/ST – 5 YEARS

                                      FOR OBCA/B – 3 YEARS

                                      FOR GOV. EMPLOYEE (AT LEAST 2YEARS IN SERVICE) – 2YEARS.           

ONLINE APPLICATION DATE: Last date 24^th may 2016 UPTO 4 p.m.

MODE OF EXAMINATION : The mode of examination, either OFFLINE or ONLINE, will be decided by the Commission and

the same will be published in Commission’s website in due course.

EXAMINATION FEES: Rs. 220/- FOR ALL AND FOR SC/ST Rs. 20/-.

Ø No exemption of fees is available to the SC / ST / BC-A/ BC-B candidates of other states.
