QUALIFICATION: FOR THE POST OF CHAUFFEUR

· Passed at least Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or

equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Institution with valid Driving license for

small and heavy vehicles with at least 5 years’ experience and knowledge of minor repair

of small and heavy vehicles;

· Must have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali.

FOR THE POST OF TRANSPORT ATTENDANT

· Passed at least Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or

equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Institution.

· Must have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali.

FOR THE POST OF TAILOR

· Passed at least Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or

equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Institution and Certificate of merit and

practical experience as a Tailor in a reputed organization / PSU with at least 5 years’

experience.

· Must have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali.

AGE LIMIT: 18-40 YEARS AS ON 1^ST JANUARY 2016 FOR ALL POSTS.

AGE RELAXATION: FOR SC/ST – 5 YEARS

FOR OBCA/B – 3 YEARS

FOR GOV. EMPLOYEE (AT LEAST 2YEARS IN SERVICE) – 2YEARS.

West Bengal Staff Selection Commission will conduct Lower Division Assistant for various post for 2016. Lower Division Clerk was last held in 2013.

Brief description of this examination.

Name of the examination:

LOWER DIVISION ASSISTANT/ LOWER DIVISION CLERK RECRUITMENT - 2015

Qualification:

i) A Pass in Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

ii) Acquisition of elementary knowledge in Computer operation with the ability of typing on Computer at the speed of 20 words per minute in English or 10 words per minute in Bengali from a reputed organization for a period not less than 6 (six) months.

Date Of Exam: 12^th June

Total no. of Vacancy: 599

Scheme : The Examination shall consist of two parts . Part- I and Part – II on different dates.

Qualified candidates on part –I only be allowed to appear in the Part – II examination

Part –I : part –I will carry 100 marks having 100 questions of 1 mark each, comprising of multiple choice objective type questions on English -30marks, General Studies – 40marks, Arithmetic -30 marks. Duration- 1hour.

Part-II : Part – II consists of consist of conventional type Questions . Duration – one hour
